Fishing memories in West Virginia

Standing on Hinkle Lake Dam where I caught my first fish on a rod and reel.

                                                                                           An adult red-spotted newt.

A stringer of freshly stocked trout from Buffalo Lake.

The Potomac Highlands region in West Virginia is an outdoorsman’s paradise.

This ten-pound catfish from Hinkle Lake shows these lakes offer more than just good trout fishing.
